It was a blast and included great fun including delicious dinner, the 10k turkey trot, night out with old friends, movies, skipbo, and more. By far though, the highlight for Jeremy, every year, is the Turkey Bowl. All of his friends from middle school, high school and after his mission meet to play football the morning after Thanksgiving. It is mostly fun to go to because all of the guys get so excited. The wives were all laughing because after the turkey bowl, everything else the rest of the year is a let down... Anyways it was way fun and Jeremy made some awesome plays. He limped around the rest of the weekend from his soreness from the game... Last year we were too busy with finals and then we went home for Christmas so we never got a tree. This year however I was determined to get one. We found one super cheap on Craig's List and then got cheap ornaments. Jeremy was very concerned with the Tree Topper and a ornament star was the only thing I could find. So we had to duct tape it to the top. So here is my attempt at being better at it. Pretty much since the last time I blogged...a year ago...lots has happened. Jeremy and I both graduated from BYU had a busy summer and moved to Las Vegas to start grad school. Jeremy is in Dental School and I am in grad school for social work. We had a rough start here in Vegas, nothing quite seemed to go right as we moved, but now we are starting to love it! School keeps us very busy but we are both really liking it.
